The Original Bonbon Collection. Officially presented for the first time in Florence in 2001 and then at Tendence Frankfurt and FIAM Valencia in 2002, the Bonbon Collection designed by Gianni Cresci for GBS is the extensive collection of pendant, sconce, and wall and ceiling lamps that stand out thanks to their spherical design and floral style. Chandeliers with a very distinct personality, lively and romantic creations that highlight the stylistic traits most typical of GBS: attention to detail; high quality Florentine craft working of wrought iron decorated by hand; the possibility of differentiating the collection in extraordinary variations of colour and style: from the Bonbon Roselline collection made up entirely of rose buds, to the Flowering Rose Grace collection, from the closed model with filigree light to the pendant model with directional light. GBS Bonbon Lamps – often “quoted” in “new” design proposals or more openly imitated – are the celebration of the best of Italian manufacture. And the original is recognizable without any real difficulty: Bonbon lamps with their Grace, Alice and Bonbon variations are made of wrought iron and decorated by hand – leaf by leaf, flower by flower – like every other GBS lamp .
